blood

Gave blood today. I'm still not thrilled with 5:00 appointments, but it does mean I get a bit of time to chill and snack rather than rushing to the blood center to be ten minutes late after school. I gave a triple platelet and things went pretty smoothly. I've gotten absolutely shameless about string cheese. I think everyone involved in my donations now thinks, "Yeah, she's got this, we're good." They don't even check my ID any more and they recognize my voice over the phone.

Now I am mostly worn out from the day, but I have taken in my weight in calcium and am not tingly any more. Whoo.
